Hillcrest has pre-kindergarten through 5th grade students with a variety of backgrounds, which allows our students to meet and become friends with a diverse group of people and exposes them to our world's rich multiculturalism.
We offer full-day pre-kindergarten, full-day kindergarten and English Language Learner programs. OG+, Supplemental Reading Instruction, Language Foundations, Read Naturally, Really Great Reading, Targeted Math, and Title 1 services are just some of the many supports to our language arts and math programs. Additional services that provide support to our students and their families include: the School-Based Health Center, Judy Center, Community School Services, Clubs, Tutoring, Summer Programming, and Free Breakfast. In addition, HES offers select students with an opportunity to participate in the OWBI, one-way billingual immersion, program. This program is one of a kind and provides select students with the ability to be proficient in both Spanish and English.
